At EventPro, we strive to process event payouts as efficiently as possible. However, various factors can influence the timing of these payouts. Below, we outline the key details and potential delays that may occur to help you better understand the payout process.

Estimated Payout Dates

  • Payout Dates Are Estimates: The payout date displayed in your EventPro account is an estimate and subject to change.

  • Card Type Variability: The settlement time for different card types can vary significantly. For instance, transactions made with American Express cards may take up to 5 days to settle, potentially delaying the payout date.

Local Bank EFT Processing Times

  • Standard Processing: Local bank Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT) typically take up to 48 hours to process after the funds have been settled.

  • Butterfield Bank Transfers: We have observed intermittent delays with EFT transfers to Butterfield Bank clients, as their processing times can vary. If you bank with Butterfield, please allow additional time for your payout to arrive or add a different bank to your account. Check Payment can also be arranged.

  • Holidays and Bank Closures: There may be delays during holidays or when banks close for natural disaster preparation.


Validation and Holds

  • Event Verification: Payouts may be placed on hold if our system detects that your event might not have taken place. To avoid such delays, ensure that you validate tickets during your event using the tools provided by EventPro.

Recommendations to Minimize Delays

  1. Validate Tickets: Use EventPro’s ticket scanning and validation tools during your event to confirm attendance.

  2. Check Card Types: Be aware that certain card transactions, such as those made with American Express, may settle more slowly.

  3. Consider Bank Processing Times: If you bank with Butterfield or another institution with variable processing times, please keep this in mind.


In some instances, we are able to wire funds outside of the Cayman Islands. This is subject to approval and wire transfer fees.
