Overview

EventPro Entry Manager is a mobile application designed to validate event tickets efficiently. It allows event staff to manage attendee check-ins through various features such as scanning QR codes, viewing attendee lists, and filtering attendance status. This guide will help you navigate and utilize the app effectively.


Login Process

  1. Launch the App: Open the EventPro Entry Manager app on your device.

  2. Enter Credentials: Use the same login credentials as your Event Manager account.

  3. Access Events: After logging in, you will see a list of all your events.


Main Features

Upon logging in you will see a list of events, and you will be presented with the following options:

1. Attendee List

  • Purpose: View a comprehensive list of all attendees.

  • Steps:

    1. Tap on "Attendee List" 

    2. The list will display attendee names and their check-in status (checked-in or not checked-in).

  • Additional Options:

    • Search: Look up specific attendees by name or ticket details.

    • Filter: Narrow down the list to show only checked-in or not-checked-in attendees.

    • Scan or Quick Scan: Initiate ticket validation directly from the list.

2. Scan

  • Purpose: Validate tickets and view attendee details.

  • Steps:

    1. Tap on "Scan" (screenshot).

    2. Select "Scan Ticket" to open the ticket scanner.

    3. Point your device's camera at the QR code on the attendee's ticket.

    4. Once scanned, the app will display detailed information about the attendee, including ticket type and any additional notes.

3. Quick Scan

  • Purpose: Rapidly validate tickets without accessing detailed attendee information.

  • Use Case: Ideal for events with a high volume of attendees.

  • Steps:

    1. Tap on "Quick Scan" .

    2. Use the camera to scan QR codes. Successful scans will confirm validation instantly without loading attendee details.





Best Practices

  • Pre-Event Preparation: Ensure your device is fully charged and has a stable internet connection for seamless ticket validation.

  • Training: Familiarize your event staff with both the "Scan" and "Quick Scan" options to adapt to different attendee volumes.

  • Backup Access: Print a physical attendee list or have a backup device available for emergencies.


Troubleshooting

  • Login Issues: Ensure your Event Manager credentials are correct. Reset your password if necessary.

  • Scanner Not Working: Check your device’s camera permissions and ensure good lighting for QR code visibility.

  • Sync Issues: Refresh the app to sync the latest attendee data from the Event Manager.
